The 7.7 magnitude earthquake that shook Myanmar on March 28th of this year, tragically took the lives of over 5,000 people, tearing apart families that were already suffering from the current wars raging there. Your prayers and financial support has enabled us to help thousands of desperate people, and continues to do so while many humanitarian organizations have already left. We are thankful for the many people who have been praying for the people groups of Myanmar as we work through our Operation Myanmar profiles. The recent massive 7.7 earthquake has added untold misery to the people of Myanmar. Estimates are that tens of thousands of people have been killed and up to 3 million have been displaced after their homes were destroyed. The epicenter of the quake was in the Sagaing Region next to Chin State, where many of our prayer requests for Chin and Tangshang tribes have been targeted in recent months. Hundreds of thousands of strong Christians live in these regions.
